Has anyone experienced an inflammatory of you colon with COPD

When I get breathless I experience a severe cramping of the upper colon. I am scheduled for a colonoscopy January 21st. This all started November, my breathlessness has become worse with this. Has anyone experienced this. I appreciate any feed back.
