I just read in the What Is Pneumonia section under Learn More that: "COPD is the third leading cause of death, while pneumonia and flu contribute to the eighth leading cause of death in the United States." It doesn't change anything except how I look at my new condition. I would've never guessed this to be true. [Note: I just "Googled" it and sure enough, it's true. Actually, the CDC says it's the 4th. Sorry this is so gloomy of a subject/topic. It just kinda woke me the hell up in this early hour.]
