Yesterday I went to urgent care with shallow breathing so they took a chest X-ray and the radiologist said it look like emphysema. Then the doc had me do a PFT which I did well on and it did not appear there was an obstruction with the 1 second exhalation. I’m going to follow up with a pulmonologist hopefully today and get this all sorted out. The thing is I don’t feel like I have emphysema at all, no coughing or wheezing, no morning headaches. I suffer from insomnia due to anxiety so I’ve never really slept well at all.I’m 32 and I can barely look at my 7 year old daughter without crying knowing that my time with her could possibly be cut short. So what would a suspicious chest x-ray but with good PFT results mean?
