Problems with blood pressure medication

Hi

I'm new here, so hi folks.

I have stage three Emphysema and recently my doctor started me on blood pressure medication, I've tried Amlodipine and Ramipril but both seem to have made my breathing much worse than it was, where I can only walk half as far as I used to before having to stop.

I was wondering if anyone else had, had problems with this sort of thing and could perhaps recommend something that at least allows me to breathe like I was before as it's extremely taxing not being able to do what I was beforehand.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
