Have you ever heard of a combination of Post-Laminectomy Syndrome & COPD:
About the addition of Baclofen, prescribed by Spine & Pain Management, I am having tremendous relief from Post-Laminectomy Syndrome, sharp pain, in my right flank.
I have been increasing my activity, e.g. Getting up from the laptop – Walking to the bathroom – to the kitchen – before I can get in a seated position at the laptop – I develop “heavy, not sharp,” right flank pain followed by a dry COPD exacerbation that requires my following an COPD Action Plan of one type or another.
I really do not get relief from my Albuterol Rescue Inhaler. Please do not mistake this for my Nebulizer with Albuterol, which provides great relief, on the occasional night, before trying to doze off to sleep.
Before I started taking Baclofen a few days ago, just going to the kitchen was enough to make me use the Tripod position, against the kitchen counter, when I got there.
I was told I may expect more from Baclofen as I continue to take it.
