Last Saturday I was very congested and couldn’t seem to cough it up. I had just had some facial surgery for Basil cell so I was just a couch potato… no exercise and not nearly my normal water intake for 4-5 days. I think I figured out this is a flare up? I literally have not had one in 3 years. I don’t feel bad… just tight. I called my pulmonologist and he said to use my nebulizer 3-4 times a day and call him back if I’m not better. I asked about starting prednisone but he said no. I’m wondering how long flare ups last? I mean, could I be using my nebulizer for a week or more? I have only used it once befor back in 2018. I was scheduled for my CoVid booster tomorrow but doc said he’d prefer I wait until the flare up was over. I’m disappointed in that but am deferring to his opinion. I feel less congested than 2 days ago but still a bit tight. No urge to cough at all. Will I know the flare up is over when there’s no congestion? Again, sorry if this is a strange/silly question. Thanks for any information you can share. O2 is good.
