In November, he came down with pneumonia, and in January was diagnosed with radiation pneuminitis. It was all a severe crisis. He was on 4 liters oxygen 24 hours for 6 months, but after 4 rounds of antibiotics and a heavy course of steroids, followed by rehab, he was fine by June of this year - completely off oxygen. However, he is still very limited, and unable to do much at all without becoming severely winded. He's happy to be off oxygen, but discouraged to still be so limited. Any ideas of what our expectations should be?
