In Hospital 2 wks . Took few months to get back to my so to speak normal breathing . Now a year later fell fractured my hip had surgery . Five days after surgery had exacerbation went to hospital was told slight case of pneumonia again same lung . In hospital another five days. My question is how long does it take to recover from episode like this using relief inhaler more than usual getting winded during activity. Is it because of pneumonia or hip fracture walking with cane. Or is it both ? Cant help but be scared that my copd / emphysema getting worse . See pulmonologist she says my lungs very vulnerable and to stay as active as possible . Feel like need better snswers
