His GP gave him some medications to try (Spiriva Respimat). As of now his symptoms are pretty mild (he says there are no problems, but I definitely hear wheezing when he does anything to get his heart going), so I'm wondering how we can gauge how effective the drug is? I have looked at possibly purchasing a spirometer, or pulse oximeter, to measure but am not sure if that is the best way to go about it? Any advice is very welcome. Thanks!
