The latter means her ortho doc wants to do surgery sooner rather than later, as she is experiencing increasingly frequent patella dislocations. The problem is that her pulmonology clinic is booked out for PFTs for months, meaning she can't get results for an anesthesiologist to look at until much later than the planned surgery date. The clinic is clear that they have no ability to move faster. Have folks figured out how to navigate this issue? Can PFTs be obtained without also having to go through getting established with a new pulmonology person? I have messages in with our insurances, ortho office, etc. already.
