When I was first diagnosed with COPD, my FEV1 level was 24%. Today that level has gone up to 29% and I was told it would not go higher than that. My question is, has anyone been told their level would not improve only to have it do so? I just don't understand how they can say definitively that the level cannot improve above where it is now if it has already improved some. Thoughts.
