Close Anonymous Unfriend Friend Requested Friend Load More Close Destination Page Area Group Destination Content Title Title Article Type Copy comments Is it actually possible to get COPD or Emphysema at the age 22?i smoked a pack/day for about 6 years, had pneumothorax which is lung rupture or lung collapse twice, so i decided to quit smoking and started vaping to defeat the cravings of a normal cigg, then suddenly i felt a strange feeling in my lungs, so i went and got my lungs CT scanned, the report of the CT says that i have "mild paraseptal emphysematous lung changes"i don't cough at all, and i don't feel any trouble breathing, but i feel some little chest pain which going on for two weeks now.my question is did i developed emphysema at my age? or this maybe is something else? because i searched alot online and didn't find anyone who has copd or emphysema in their 20s *no one in my family from both sides ever had any lung problems and there's some smokers who smoked for more than 30 years with no problems "yet anyway" could i develop copd after only 6 years?
