This was a retrospective study of 369 patients with moderate to severe COPD enrolled in a telehealth program with the Veterans Health Administration. Outcome measures included emergency department (ED) and urgent care visits as well as hospitalizations. Hospital admissions, ED visits and total exacerbations significantly decreased post-participation in the telehealth intervention.
