About 4 months ago I switched from a 2xdaily steroid based inhaler to the 1xdaily stiolto respimat inhaler. My primary doctor just ordered a cardiac C-reactive protein test, and --- after a lifetime of being told I have the "cholesterol of a kindegartner!" and that my risk for heart disease is LOW, I am suddenly HIGH risk for heart attack or stroke. I checked drug interactions with stiolto respimat against the albuterol, fluoxetine (depression) and trazadone (to help sleep) I also take. All 3 interact in adverse ways for my heart, linking to higher blood pressure, dangerous abnormal heart rhythm, etc.
Did the drug interactions cause my cardiac C-reactive protein (level was 10.38) to put me in the high risk category for heart attack and/or stroke? I need all 4 total drugs, but apparently they don't play nice with each other. Anything else I can do?
