It didn’t. More recently my allergist (who also treats asthma) changed me to QVAR and said the same thing (this time directly addressing my question about whether it could be chronic bronchitis). I just started the QVAR so it’s too early to tell what effect it has on my productive cough. But supposing it eliminates my productive cough, would this mean I have asthma not chronic bronchitis, and why? What if it just reduces my coug?
