Hello, I'm new to this site and don't often post on social media, but i have a question thats causing me a lot of anxiety lately. I'm in the midst of another bout of prolonged bronchitis (two months so far, so not acute). Disgnosed with "mild COPD" three years ago at age 45 when bronchitis and general obtruction symptoms emerged and lasted about 2 to 3 months, and then largely vanished for 3 years, until recently. Initial dyspnea symptoms started at age 41. No clue what could have triggered this latest attack.
Curious on thoughts from the community as to how long can one expect an episode of chronic bronchitis to last (if you're doing all the right things to take care of your health)? I've read on various sites "months to years", which is not at all definitive or reassuring.
Any recommendations of successfull strategies to speed up the timeline?
Appreciate any support or suggestions offered!!
