I know there is no answer to this until i see a lung dr. But, i have no insurance and im unsure how thats going to happen. I could not afford obamacare. It was 280 per month with a 5000 deductible. Im also a type 1 diabetic for 42 years, thankfully with no complications. I pay out of pocket for my insulin and supplies and with insurabxe it wasnt covered. I absolutely could not afford ins.
Anyway, i startes having shortness of breath last week, it comes and goes. Ive been to the e.r twice. Both times they did labs, ekg, chest xray and a scan of my chest. All were normal. I was told there was nothing wrong and they didnt know why the shortness of breath. All my test results showed me as perfectly healthy, except for the diabetes of course.
I have no cough, no wheezing and never have. Its been very hot here in the last month. Can anyone tell me if i should at least be coughing or wheezing?? The shortness of breath comes and goes. Right now i am fine.
Trying to find a way to get to a pulmonologist, but its not going so well. Im not sure if there are any that help in low income situations.
Thanks for any help.
