One member talked about being sure to start and pre-cool her car before going out (as well as pre-heating it in the winter). She uses a remote car starter so her exposure to temperature and humidity extremes is minimized. This was kind of a too-obvious-to-see revelation for me, and it got me to thinking about unconventional ways to use current technology, and possibly even unconventional partnerships/initiatives in the future (like teaming with GM to offer OnStar discounts to people with documented COPD). What other existing/commonplace technologies can we possibly "repurpose" to help out in the COPD world?
