Often I would get shortness of breath after taking Adderall for the two years I took it. Its been over a year since I stopped but in the last 4 weeks I’ve noticed a shortness of breath developed again. I also have general anxiety which could be the cause but I’ve never felt like this before from anxiety. My oximeter test from my ge was normal, he tested my blood and that came back fine, he listened to me breath with his stethoscope and that was good too. I have trouble getting a full satisfying breath, I can breath in and out easily but getting past that certain point of satisfaction requires extra effort. I have no other symptoms and it doesn’t get worse with exercise. Doctor thinks it’s anxiety but given my history of drug abuse and the fact that it’s lasting so long I’m having a lot of doubts. Has anyone else been through something similar? Has anyone had copd misdiagnosed as anxiety? Are there any medical professionals that can shed some light on my situation? My doctor seemed pretty dismissive of anything serious and I hate waiting so long to get real tests. Sorry for posting this here I just don’t know where else to turn
