I just had a FeNO test to measure the amount of nitric oxide I expell. This was an additional test along with a new pft test. My pulmonologist wants me to use this medication as my FeNO test showed I have 56 percent inflammation in my lungs. I use breo and incruse as well. I have read mixed reviews on the new med, singulair(montelukast). I am currently in pulmonary rehab(which I just love🤗) everyone must be so very different with their physical ability to deal with this disease. My pulmonologist said I have mild to moderate disease, yet I am on meds for more severe forms Of the disease...I so appreciate any input...thank you so much!
