Hi,
I’m 34 years old and have been diagnosed with mild intermittent asthma by pulmo almost 6 months back. I experience dyspena at rest. No other symptom of cough etc. I had my CT done in April which said - both lungs appear to be hyper-inflated. No sign of parenchymal damage. I had my chest Xray done in Aug which was completely normal.
I’m pasting my latest PFT values below
FEV1/FVC(pre) - 74% (predicted)
FEV1(Pre) - 88% (predicted)
DLCO/L - 110% (predicted)
My pulmo has mentioned that this is mild asthma and said my lungs are clear B/L AE(+); Clear.
he has prescribed LABA for maintenance which I have been taking for past 7 months. I was not a major smoker but whatever little I did I’ve even stopped that and it’s been a year.
My question- is the above diagnostic in line with my symptoms/age etc. Are there any other tests to rule out any potential serious issues.
