I was recently diagnosed with COPD, and my shoulders are absolutely killing me. At times they hit the 10 mark on the pain scale. My doctor believes it is muscular but I don't.
A year ago I had my gallbladder removed as it decided to stop working. They did it laproscopicly, so my abdomen was filled with co2. I had this exact same pain then. Has there been a study done that would link excessive co2 in the body with pain in the shoulders? They don't hurt all the time, but seem to coincide with bouts of difficulty breathing. Thanks for the info.
