Risk factors of hospitalization and readmission of patients with COPD exacerbation – systematic review

A systematic review of the current literature resulting in analysis of 17 studies on risk factors for hospitalization and readmission of patients with COPD exacerbation. Several factors were identified as predicting admissions and readmissions, including long-term use of oxygen, absence of regular physical activity, and previous hospital admission.
