Influence of anxiety on health outcomes in COPD

This was a study of 1,202 patients with COPD and a matched control group. Those with COPD were at a higher risk for anxiety and this was related to poorer health outcomes, including decreased 6-minute walk test performance, increased self-reported functional issues and greater risk of COPD exacerbation.
