I have had these symptoms for the last 17 years and they've gotten worse. When it is humid or an extreme pressure change, my symptoms flare. If I am around people who are sick (If I took a couple of days of antibiotics when I was in my 20s it would pass, but haven't tried it lately), I won't get sick but that type of exacerbation that happens with the humidity will happen again. Symptoms can last for up to a week often accompanied with feelings GERD then will abate. I also have a reduced DLCO between 60% and 76% so I kind of always feel like it is a little hard to breathe. Sometimes I feel like my chest hurts and my lungs are heavy. At times I think it's reflux but maybe it's my lungs struggling and affecting the GERD. CT scan is clear and so is my echo cardiogram. I am only 44 and I am very scared for my future and what will happen to my two little girls. I truly beside myself. Everyone keeps saying I'm fine and I want to believe them but I am not! I do exercise running a mile and a half (walk 1 minute run 2) 3x a week and yoga 2x a week. When I ran this week I used a pulse oximeter and my oxygen remains at 98/99% Are these early signs? Is it possible to have this disease and have a clear CT scan. I am really depressed and this is not something I can beat. It is progressive and scary. Also extremely low ferritin for 10+ years.
