I am having a lot of trouble dealing with this because I am a little lost with all the info online and by what my Doctor said. My Fev1 is 109% and my fvc is 118 I believe. After a CT scan she found a few holes and said I have it but with no symptoms yet. She told me if I quit smoking then I should be able to live a long normal life. Is that true? She also told me that I should start to see symptoms until I am in my 50's or 60's. Is that also true? A lot of stuff online says 5 years and stuff like that. I just don't know what to believe. Its supposedly rare at my age to have it so there isn't much info on people my age. I am mostly scared of dying young. Help me please!
