Lingering cough

Hi,

My name is Niall and I was diagnosed with emphysema 7 years so when I was 30. Since my diagnosis I have stopped smoking and am pretty healthy ( I run 3 times a week and ran the dublin marathon last year). I also cycle occasionally and play football (soccer). I am still unsure what stage of emphysema I have but I will post my recent test results and maybe someone here might be able to tell from that?

Also, although I see myself as pretty healthy everytime I get sick it turns into a chest infection. I just finished 2 rounds of antibiotics and steroids and now have a lingering cough. Would anyone know what medication I should take to clear it up as I've had it for 6 weeks now. I'm currently trying to get an appointment with my gp. I take 2 puffs of spiriva respimat daily as prescribed by my consultant . Any information eoujd be advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
