Needless to say, I was scared. I tried to do my best on the tests; I even cheated a little by using my inhalers before I got in. Anyway my doctor gave me my 1st test back in My fev 1 was 24 after meds it went to 29. I dropped 6 points and lost 22pds, he could not give me a copy of my new PFT tests this is just what I got by asking. I think I was just not listening or thinking about the points but he seemed to be more worried about something else. He said last time when I expelled air it was more like a balloon letting air out and slowly deflating, now he says that mine just immediately drops straight down. I don't know what that means but that is what he said; Can anyone answer me about the 6points in approx. 18 months, and the other about exhaling? Also how much weight should I be giving all the internet studies, if what they are saying is true then I should be dead within a year or two
