I'm still not sure what numbers are the most important. My FVC: 6.27 was118% of predicted 5.31, FEV1: 4.10 was 100% of predicted 4.09, my FEV1/FVC was 65%. I thought this showed that I had Moderate COPD, my Pulmo says that it is Mild COPD. I explained that I still feel that I can't catch a deep breath very often, when I do it feels like it takes every muscle in my body. He has now ordered a CT scan of my lungs to see what he can't see on the xray. he also prescribed acid reflux meds for me and prescribed Stiolto Respimat, since Alburterol didn't seem to help my breathing. Does anyone know how long it takes Stiolto to start working does it take days or weeks to take effect. I spoke with him about Breathing, diet and exercise plan he explained at this point me walking daily is fine for me. I have looked at hyperinflated lungs but not sure since FVC is not TLC. Is there any medicine for Hyperinflation? I know that there is no way I would qualify for Lung Reduction, not serious enough. Any thoughts, this feeling of unable to catch a breath is very uncomfortable.
