What do you think? The part that makes no sense to me is the "DLCO % shows you how hard you have to work to improve your FEV1." Is that true? It seems like bad info. Also note on the PFT, your DLCO %. That percentage reflects how hard YOU will have to work to improve your FEV1. Yes, it is possible to improve your FEV1 with exercise. No, it is not possible to improve your DLCO % which is simply how well your lungs exchange oxygen and carbon monoxide. It's the diffusing capacity of your lungs.
