However, my GP said the PFT was normal and I don’t have COPD. I asked about the X-ray and he said it must have been a misread because if I had COPD it would show up on the PFT. I then told him an X-ray a few years earlier said something similar and he said something like I may have weird (not his exact word) or deformed lungs or something like that. Then I asked him about my symptoms and he said he couldn’t tell me but he’d send me to a pulmonologist. I am glad of that, but I was a little embarrassed that I was concerned about the X-rays. Am I being overly concerned? The conversation left me feeling badly for asking.
