I was diagnosed with the flu on Wednesday. Given Tamiflu, told to take Tylenol and sent on my way. Then, yesterday, I had to get a round of prednisone because I could barely catch my breath. Here's my question, I know as a COPD'er there is a certain amount of exercise I need to do each day. But as a person with the flu, I need to rest, and sacrifice the lung function I have been building . Tuesday I did almost a mile on the treadmill. Today I can barely make it to the next room without gasping for air. I am so frustrated and at a loss as to how long I should not be exercise because I need the rest. HELP!!
