Cipla USA team members make donation to the COPD Foundation as part of 3rd annual art contest to celebrate COPD Awareness Month

In November 2023, the COPD Foundation celebrated COPD Awareness Month with resources, education, and events as part of the annual Lace Up for Lungs campaign. Partners from around the world engaged in activities to promote awareness and encourage early diagnosis of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
While many organizations participated in the event, Cipla USA Inc., the wholly-owned US subsidiary of Cipla, a leading global pharmaceutical company and leader in lung health, celebrated throughout the month of November with activities and events, including their 3rd annual Blow Art Challenge. The Challenge showcased artwork created by employees and their family members and offered contest winners the opportunity to contribute to a favorite charity.
Four winners of the Blow Art Challenge were chosen, and their artwork is featured on a dedicated space called the “Cipla Blow Art Wall” at Cipla USA's headquarters in New Jersey. The winners include:

Reyansh Kumeria and Kalyani Kadavakollu generously chose the COPD Foundation as the recipients of the winning funds.
"COPD Awareness Month is an annual opportunity to raise awareness for COPD and related lung diseases, educate the public about COPD, and encourage early diagnosis and adherence to treatments," said Jean Wright, M.D., MBA, chief executive officer of The COPD Foundation. "The funds donated by Reyansh Kumeria and Kalyani Kadavakollu will make a difference and improve the lives of those affected by COPD. Cipla USA's dedication to inspire their team to raise awareness and support respiratory health initiatives is commendable."
Cipla USA championed COPD awareness throughout the month, donning vibrant orange attire on "Wear Orange Day," participating in "Lace Up for Lungs", engaging employees with resources and educational materials including guest speakers from the COPDF, and encouraging the Cipla USA community to raise awareness for chronic lung diseases.
