There are specific COPD PT programs, where {at least the one I attended} in-addition to providing a variety of gym equipment, they also monitor your physical stats. For the most part we know how to monitor our stats, and I propose unless you need O2, any gym will work. As I mentioned, my PT lets me use their equipment any time. Alternatively one could go to the Y or other low cost venue. I know the formal COPD PT programs can be quite taxing on insurance.
