I was in the hospital for 4 days, thankfully covid negative but got placed on doxycycline and heavy doses of steroids. Thankfully I’m weaning the steroids now and about 2 weeks post discharge but feel like absolute rubbish. Breathing is still a challenge but at least it’s not nearly as bad as when in the hospital (I could barely stand to shower and ended up needing help to bathe and would sweat and pant just walking around the room and talking on the phone). My oxygen needs got bumped up to 3L continuous and I do feel better at this higher flow. I try to walk around my house but haven’t had the energy yet to leave my home. Some days I barely have enough energy to leave my bed. Lung disease is tough. I know I’ll get over this but oh my, what a kick in the shorts.
