Yes - I am making an appointment with my doctor!
I have had this intermittently for years and have not keeled over yet. But the pain has become more frequent in the last few weeks, along with some other issues. So I will be fully reviewing with my doctor when he is prepared to grant me an audience. I am just wondering if this is typical of COPD, hence my question.
Essentially it is a sharp pain when I try to take a really deep breath. Usually occurring when sitting at the dining table, in the car, or watching TV. No obvious triggers. It goes again after a minute or two.It goes more quickly if I make a point of breathing up to the point of pain rather than keeping it very shallow.
Has anyone had similar?
