I’m in a quandary and have been for months. My PC and a pulmonologist diagnosed me with COPD at age 75. I’ve. Had chronic cough since covid in 2022.
Pul. Prescribes Spriva. I read it has potential for 40% increase risk of urinary retention . I have BPh and take silodosin to help me urinate. If I miss a dose, it is difficult to get things flowing.
I have so far refused to use the inhaler. I can’t find a solution.
One more problem, for a month I have had Les cough until triggered by something? Then I occasionally cough up thick mucous tinged with deep red blood clot looking glob. This doesn’t happen every time I cough but usually daily . Doctor doesn’t seem concerned . To me it doesn’t seem to fit with COPD. Help please
