Hi, new member here. I was diagnosed w COPD last year. Quit smoking in '99! Bad three week long sicknesses in '13 and '14 before I started taking medicine. I am in the middle of an exacerbation right now, thankfully not as long as the others I think due to treatment, but I have a new sensation that I need to clarify for myself. This time my muscles are getting tired and they feel stressed and weak.It stops me in my tracks. My coughing has subsided but I still have lots of mucus. Usually when my coughing subsides I start feeling stronger. not this time. This muscle thing is very tiring. I have not been active or doing exercises for four or five days but I have been getting plenty of sleep. Any advice or further explanation?
Also, any advice about dealing w the mucus in the bronchial tubes. More of the breathing exercises? -
BTW I am taking advair, flonase and singulair as well as medicines for high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes 2.
