Hi, I had described my emergency room visit and subsequent diagnosis in my extended profile. I am a divorced 55 year old and have been unable to find employment for nearly 2years. Age discrimination alone I suspect is a huge component, despite the fact that it is illegal. All an employee need say Is we've chosen a better qualified candidate. Just try to disprove their claim when you have no income whatsoever.
Now to face this already discouraging goal coupled with the need for oxygen 24/7, I feel that it may never happen. Who wants an oxygen bound employee in direct public contact? I've wondered about trying to find a home based or telecommute job, but I've heard stories about people who get scammed, are never paid, etc. I must find a job, soon or I will be in complete financial jeopardy. I cannot afford a potable unit, so although I know that would be somewhat less intrusive, it is out of the question. Please offer any suggestions or imput you can. Many Thanks.
