I showed him the meds that the nurse practitioner in another doctor's office gave me Friday. He listened to my lungs, said they were OK. My oxygen level was 95. He again said I didn't need any meds except for a rescue inhaler and I didn't need pulmonary rehab. However, said I need to lose weight. I'm 5' and 185Lbs, Don't need to wear a mask at all and go home and enjoy life. Is this normal. I don't know what I should do. Doesn't everyone with moderate COPD need meds. My first spirometry test was a year ago and FEV1 was 71. Any advice would be helpful. I don't know if this doctor is very good. Thank you.
