My mother and sister both smoke and they have it. I run marathons and never had an issue breathing. I went to the hospital because I do have High BP and the chest X-rays was clear but then I got a CT scan and was told COPD. I am in total shock and am a mess. I have 2 small children and don’t know what to do. I am going to see a pulmonologist in 2 days but is there any way that a CT scan is incorrect?its Christmas and I’m a crying mess. I don’t want to die
