I recently listened to a podcast that talked about the average time a patient may have with their primary care provider!
Through collecting responses from PCP's and patients, they came to the conclusion that the average time a PCP and patient have for an appointment is 16 minutes, with 8 mandatory topics addressed (COPD is not in that framework).
As a patient, with this in mind and a short time frame, how do you prepare yourself to get the most out of your appointment time? As a provider, what tips do you have for patients for their appointments?
