hey there,
I posted earlier in the month about my suspicion that I have a floppy trachea due to the pain in my windpipe and loud harsh noise that happens when I do my exhale on Pulmonary Function tests. I also have been noticing when I exercise I just can’t exhale well- it actually feels like my trachea is wheezing. No sound just like it’s not able to exhale. I’ll do my inhalers and nothing helps. I saw and ENT and I am all good. My doctor wanted me to get a dynamic CT to see my trachea in motion and I got it done BUT they did the wrong type of CT scan! So, I fortunately they didn’t get the breathing in action to see if my trachea closes up. My question is- I’m 38 almost 39. Do I let this go or should I do a bronchoscopy to figure this out? Does this always get worse if I have this issue? Thanks a lot for your time. I’m bummed I did a ct scan but it wasn’t even the appropriate kind
