I am rated at very severe copd along with a host of things now. I am on a program similar to palliative care. This month has been one multiple evaluations and I am try to get all my questions ready for my next encounters. Now the term dementia is being brought up. Of all my other concerns now I am looking at this too. My biggest question I suppose is if with treatment for the copd is a mild form of dementia stopped from progressing. Or can depression mimic the signs of dementia. Doing research on my own led to reports on cognitive pulmonary disease and a relation ship to copd. So I am now looking for more information so I can be prepared for my next visits. Here is where I have found many answers before so I am returning hopeful for more answer or better question. At this point I will take both.
