I was diagnosed in June of this year. I actually just turned 46 yesterday. Both of my parents have already passed from Copd. I don't have insurance, so the only medical help I receive is through a free clinic. They give me Symbicort, but no other help. I feel like I'm drastically going down hill very quickly. I have to be in a room with constant air flowing, ceiling fan, and fan on night stand next to me. I can't have ANY heat on me whatsoever, or my heart pounds in my neck and I can't breathe. I get completely out of breath when I only walk a few steps, and I become totally exhausted. I feel like I'm not getting enough O2 through my nose anymore, so I breathe out of my mouth. I feel like I'm struggling all the time for oxygen and when I chew food, I have to stop because I feel like I can't breathe, and my whole neck feels exhausted then. What in the world is going on with me? Please help me get answers!
