I'm scared since I have had exacerbations around every other month and I go on Methypredisoline to help with that and it does for a short period of time. Is there something I can do to keep from have these exacerbations? I have inhalers and oxygen and a portable battery operated concentrator and I sleep with a bi-pap machine for sleep apnea and includes oxygen. I'm noticing that I have to be on oxygen more often now and up until now did not have to be on oxygen 24-7 but it looks like I might have to be now. Please advise. I also have some phlegm in my throat area and also have a pleural effusion outside of my left lung.
