Hello friends. I have had some variations in my spirometry results that have me wondering what the future brings. I've had tests annually around year end in 2019, 2020 and 2021. According to the Gold criteria, I was stage 2 in 2019, stage 3 in 2020, and now in 2021 I'm back to stage 1.😮 The tests appear valid, all with the same technician at the same pulmonologist's office. The results also align with how I have felt when tested. The results are unusual, and I am wondering what the future may bring. Continued variations up and down, or ?. I'd appreciate knowing whether anyone else has experienced similar trends or has other thoughts they would like to share. I'm 61 with a long history of sporadic smoking, completely quit in Q2 2019. CT scans and history indicate I have Chronic Bronchitis with no signs of emphysema yet. Here's a summary of my PFT history:
