As a COPD patient advocate and the newest State Captain from Connecticut, I hope to accomplish helping others understand all aspects of COPD. I would love to help people stay positive. I want to be a friend and a helper to those that may need me.
As a COPD advocate, I to my have spoken to family and friends about COPD, and I have signed up for COPD360Social.
As a State Captain, I am most interested in connecting others in the COPD community to the resources available so they can live healthier, fuller lives, and writing about COPD to share my story and help raise awareness. I would also like to host and participate in fundraisers to support my community.
My proudest COPD moment has been the day I walked into my pulmonary physician's office and told him that I had quit smoking!!
My inspiration to share is, “Live each day one at a time and find a reason each day to smile”
More about me, “I was diagnosed with COPD about 5 years ago. Diagnosed with asthma about 4 years ago.I am a homemaker. I am very active...always doing something”
