Any thoughts on using this drug for COPD?
I heard about this drug on a TV show with a dermatologist (Dr. Pimple Popper - love this show). A skin patient could / would not use prednisone. Dupilumab could be used in place of corticosteroids - prednisone. (I had new onset afib possibly due to prednisone shot for orthopedics reason).
The wiki page for the drug has this paragraph about COPD:

Investigational uses
In March of 2023, Sanofi announced the results of a Phase 3 trial examining the efficacy of dupilumab in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). In this randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial,[16] dupilumab demonstrated a 30% reduction in moderate or severe acute exacerbations of COPD, as well as significant improvements in lung function and quality of life in people with COPD.[17]
