Are there any good studies (using humans and not mice) about if nasal drainage actually goes into the lungs and truly is the cause of lung disease or worsening lung disease?
Despite being told that nasal secretions can cause worse breathing, I’m not finding a thing- except using mice. Thats not satisfactory to me bec mice have such different anatomy than humans. And even in the mice study they concluded that even if nasal discharge ended up in the lungs, it never created a problem.
Any info would be great! Ive been using so many nasal sprays (patonase, flonase, ipratropium) to clear up my nose but nothing has ever worked for me. Nothing.
im about ready to just stop buying them bec they dont do anything but for a few min.
